Courses offered
Course 1 “out in 3”
This course is designed to show and allow opportunities to plan and demonstrate safe evacuation techniques
should a problem arise with a vehicle, be it mechanical or fire related.
Course 2 “Vehicle and Drivers”
This course is designed to build on existing Customer Skills, handling of issues, groups, Tachographs (digital
and analogue), walk round checks, defect forms, licenses etc. The aim is not to tell people how to do the job they have been
doing for years, but to help them understand why these things have to be done and how to do things safely, correctly and easily,
therefore making the job easier for everyone
Course 3 “Health and Safety/Basic first aid”
This Course is aimed at what we do and how we do it safely, what we can do to minimize risk and give ideas
and stimulate discussion on what to do if things go wrong., and how not to let them go wrong in the first place.
Course 4 “Customer Care”
We all have to be aware of our Customers, who they are and how they need to be treated to ensure a safe and
happy experience travelling, the ideas brought forward in discussion can be aired and a role play session to “flag up”
issues will enhance the training in what to do and how to do it.
Course 5 “Social Attitudes and Awareness”
Political Correctness is here to stay whether we subscribe it or not, this course explores attitudes to various
segments of our society and how best we can interact and co-exist together, Drink and Drug issues will also form part of this
course as these have a bearing on all we do and how we do it.
Course 6 “Disability issues”
For many years now “DIPTAC the Disability commission have promoted awareness of Disability and how to
ease the burdens people experience, this area has great impact on all our working lives and therefore needs an airing and
opportunity to raise issues and formulate responses suitable for life in the 21st century
